Description
The Clive Chamber’s June Business After Hours hosted by the Clive Historical Society and will be a joint event with the City of Clive’s new public art mural dedication.
Join us as we dedicate a new public art mural that will be installed on the grounds of Swanson Memorial Park (8614 Swanson Blvd.) just next to the Clive Historical Museum. Iowa artist Dan Hatala, who is a professional illustrator and mural artist, is creating a nostalgic mural to celebrate the history of Clive. This project is a collaboration between the Clive Public Art Commission and Clive Historical Society. Funding for the project has been provided by the Clive Community Foundation and Polk County. A short ceremony and unveiling will be held at 5:15pm.
We will also be celebrating the 7th Annual Art Along the Trail exhibit which began in early May and runs through the end of October.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
Please bring co-workers and friends for food, fun & networking with your fellow Clive Chamber members and the general public.
